What Is a Home warranty

A home warranty is totally different from homeowners insurance, neither is it a substitute for homeowners insurance. Homeowners insurance protects major perils like hail, fires, property crimes and sure sorts of water damage that might have an effect on the whole construction and/or the homeowner’s personal belongings. A home warranty doesn’t cover these things. Rather, it covers specific parts of the house, like AC Systems, Plumbing Systems, Pool and Spas, and Appliances.

Homeowner warranty

A home warranty is a contract between a house owner and a home warranty company that gives repairs and replacement services on a home’s major parts, like AC Systems, Plumbing Systems, Pool and Spas. A home warranty may cover major appliances like washers and dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers and range/cooktop/ stove. Most plans have a basic element that provides all house owners with a policy coverage. A house owner may get one or a lot of optional add-ons that offer extra coverage.

Home warranty firms have agreements with approved service techs that are prescreened and insured by the warranty company. Once one thing that’s lined by a home warranty, breaks down, the home owner calls the support line at the home warranty company, then the home warranty company can dispatch one in all its service professionals to look at the matter. If the Technician determines that the item is covered by the warranty, he completes the work. The house owner is simply accountable for service fee (deductible) and the money he/she has already spent to get the warranty.
